WALDEN

I went out into the wild because I wanted to live consciously. 

"I went out into the wild because I wanted to live consciously. I wanted to fully absorb the essence of life. To destroy everything that was not Life, so that I would not realize at the hour of my death that I had not lived." - by Henry David Thoreau

The above quote is the motto of the exhibition WALDEN. As the artist realizes and accepts that a creative desire overflowing with emotion and energy cannot be contained within the four walls of the studio, new worlds open up before him. Encountering nature, harnessing and incorporating nature's energies into the creative process allows for the capture of reality. The total surrender of spirituality to the capture of the moment that appears expressively on canvas as a consequence of the liberation of the creative process. The total expression of the self is completed in a state of flow up to an exotic level. The concept of the WALDEN exhibition, which stems from this realisation, once again takes the WALDEN show to a level that is not an exhibition in the traditional sense.

A fenti idézet a mottója a WALDEN című kiállításnak. Ahogy a művész felismeri és belátja, hogy érzelmektől és energiáktól túlfűtött alkotói vágyat nem lehet, a műterem négy fala közöt tartani, új világok nyílnak meg előtte. A természettel való találkozás, a természet energiáinak felhasználása és beépítése az alkotói folyamatba a valóság megragadását teszi lehetővé. A szellemiség teljes átadását a pillanat megragadására amely expresszív formában jelenik meg a vásznon az alkotói folyamat felszabadításának következményeként. A teljes önkifejezés egészen extaikus szintig a flow állapotában teljesedik ki. Ebből a felismerésből táplálkozó kiállítási koncepció a WALDEN bemutatót ismét egy olyan szintre emeli ami nem a hagyományos értelemben vett kiállítás.
